u4gm poe1 3.29 Passive Tree Meta Predictions

Message par luissuraez798 »

Path of Exile 3.29 is still mostly guesswork right now, and that's a strange place for players to be. GGG has confirmed the July 16 reveal and the July 24 launch, but there's no manifesto, no passive tree file, and no clear word on ascendancy changes. That means early planning is less about certainty and more about reading old habits. Players watching builds, trade chatter, and POE Currency trends can already see where the nervous energy is building.

Passive Tree Pressure Points
Projectile and flask scaling look exposed
If GGG follows its usual rhythm, the passive tree won't be left untouched. Projectile wheels are the obvious danger zone. Lightning Arrow, Elemental Hit, Tornado Shot, and Kinetic Blast have all had long periods where they felt too easy to scale. You don't need perfect gear to clear fast, and that's usually when balance teams start trimming numbers. Flask nodes are in a similar spot. Pathfinder makes flask uptime feel almost permanent, and once poison gets added to that package, the build can do a bit too much with too little fuss.

Melee May Get Another Push
Axes, bleed, and strike skills are the easy candidates
Melee buffs have been promised, attempted, missed, and tried again over the years. Still, 3.29 feels like a natural window for another swing at it. Axe clusters such as Cleaving, Slaughter, and Hatchet Master could use better attack speed, cleaner ailment hooks, or stronger weapon identity. Bleed is even more likely to get attention, since it's barely present in serious endgame play compared with poison or hit-based projectile setups. Strike skills also need help that players can actually feel, not just a small line of damage. Extra strike targets, smoother splash access, or better boss scaling would matter right away.

Projectile clusters are the highest-risk nerf area.
Flask effect and duration scaling may be toned down.
Poison masteries could lose some efficiency.
Axe and bleed wheels are strong buff candidates.
Strike skills need practical quality-of-life improvements.

Ascendancy Watchlist
Deadeye and Pathfinder may lose some shine
Deadeye is the class everyone expects to get inspected first. It clears too well, starts too smoothly, and keeps scaling with gear in a way that often leaves other bow options behind. Pathfinder isn't far behind. Its flask engine gives damage, defence, recovery, and comfort all at once, which is why so many players keep coming back to it. On the other side, Gladiator has a real chance to move up if bleed and block get proper support. Chieftain could also see changes, especially if GGG wants Marauder to feel less narrow outside a handful of fire or tank setups.

Atlas and League Start Choices
Safe builds may beat flashy builds early
The Atlas tree could shift as much as the character tree. Expedition and Ritual are good guesses for buffs because both mechanics can keep players engaged when the rewards feel fair. Harvest and Legion may get small tuning, while Delirium and Blight could stay close to where they are. For league starters, I'd be careful with anything that relies on untouched projectile or poison scaling. Trickster hybrid setups, Hierophant Archmage, Necromancer minions, and Slayer melee all look safer on paper. Gladiator bleed is tempting too, but only if the patch notes back it up.

Trading Around Uncertainty
Wait for data, but don't ignore the market
The awkward part is timing. Teasers may land around July 9 to July 13, with the manifesto and reveal close behind. Once the passive tree data drops, Path of Building updates will shape the real starter lists fast. Until then, don't overcommit to one build just because it was strong last league. Keep a backup. Watch gem changes. Watch ascendancies. If you're planning trade movement, demand for items and cheap POE Currency often shifts hard during manifesto week, so a calm plan usually beats chasing every rumour.
